The magnificent 18th-century Long Room of the Library of Trinity College Dublin opened in 1732 and was expanded in 1860. At nearly 65 metres in length, this working library is filled with over 200,000 beautifully bound volumes in striking, dark oak bookcases, representing over four centuries of learning and scholarship.
